Nursing Education Graduate Certificate
Our online Nursing Education post-bachelor’s certificate prepares practicing nurses to support student growth, use assessment and evaluation strategies effectively, participate in curriculum design and the evaluation of program outcomes and pursue continuous quality improvement in the nurse educator role.
This program prepares graduates for the National League for Nursing (NLN) examination for certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE). See additional eligibility requirements outlined by NLN.
Admission Requirements
- A current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with no disciplinary action
 - Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an ACEN- (formerly NLNAC) or CCNE-accredited nursing institution
 - Minimum undergraduate Statistics GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale

Tuition & Fees
Students in this program are not eligible for financial aid, but master's and doctoral students who complete the Nurse Educator Certificate as part of their graduate degree are eligible for the Nurse Faculty Loan Program. After graduation, up to 85 percent of the loan and principal interest is canceled for individuals who work as full-time nursing faculty at a school of nursing.

The rates provided are based on 2025-26 totals set by the university and could change in future academic years. Estimates also could change based on the following:
- Change of state of residence
 - Change in enrollment status (i.e., full time or part time)
 - Other unforeseen circumstances
